Almost no one is better practiced at problem-solving than our military veterans. So it makes perfect sense for them to apply their knowledge and experience to address the problems plaguing our democracy. That’s where Veterans for Political Innovation come in. Launched in 2021, VPI has mobilized almost 700 veterans and supporters in 27 states to introduce ballot initiatives that would improve our electoral system.
