November 2024 Updates

Friends,

This week, voters in 6 states and the District of Columbia will have the opportunity to reclaim their elections away from political insiders by opening their primaries to all voters.  It's a potential watershed moment for election reform.  Eric Bronner, the founder of Veterans for All Voters, has been on the road to rally the troops in this final stretch (great photos below).

Regardless of how the ballot initiatives turn out, we are incredibly proud to stand by our national and state partners and the citizens across this great country who, driven by their patriotism, are working to save our country from the political abyss.  We're playing the long game - and will not be done until American's faith and participation in their government is returned to them.  Oh, and make sure you VOTE!

With you,

Todd, Eric & the team at Veterans for All Voters

State Updates and Event Recaps

Nevada

Eric attended MCON 2024 (“Military Conference”) in Vegas, along with Nevada State Leader Brandon Moody and other Nevada Veterans and supporters.  Our MCON Booth featured a “Final 5” candy election where over 70 folks participated (including kids as young as 5). The simple process resulted in Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup being crowned the winner, with KitKat Bar finishing second

Veterans for Nevada Voters hosted a happy hour in downtown Vegas attended by over 20 Veterans and supporters from around the country.

At MCON, Eric Bronner also moderated a panel on Civic Engagement featuring Arizona Veteran, Matt Kenney, State Programs Director with our partner Vet the Vote, and Lindsay Knight, the Chief Impact Officer with Blue Star Families

“The Purple Principle” podcast team had a film crew in the house to capture the momentum that’s building, nationally, for election reforms

Veterans for All Voters joined the Yes on 3 team at their booth which included our VAV State Leads and Volunteers, Michael Spielman and Mike Escobar.

Mike Escobar stated: "Even though I've been in Nevada my whole life, this was the first Nevada Day parade that I've participated in! What an honor that my first event celebrating my beloved state was also one that I got to help champion pro-democracy reforms at with the Yes on 3 campaign. I see no better way to honor the principles of freedom and opportunity that my state and my country have historically stood for than by proudly using my voice as a veteran and lifelong Nevada resident to encourage people to vote YES on 3!"

Eric joined another great happy hour event in Reno, in support of the “Yes on Ballot Question 3!” campaign for Final-5 Voting in Nevada.

Idaho

Idaho - Happy Hour and Majority Rules Film Screening

Eric Bronner attended a happy hour at the White Dog Saloon in Boise Idaho, with over 20 Idaho Veterans and election reform supporters

The group then walked across the street for a screening of the inspiring “Majority Rules” documentary a The Flicks Theatre in downtown Boise

Montana

In Bozeman, the “Majority Rules” Film Team happened to be in town and they attended a fantastic happy hour and casual screening of their hope-inducing film. Director AJ Schnack shared some inspiring remarks, and we were honored to meet Producer Alana Schwartz and Adam and Joel from their outstanding team

Veterans for Montana Voters State Leader Scott Walgren hosted the happy hour, attended by over 20 people. After watching “Majority Rules” the comments were tremendously positive, with one attendee commenting that this was the most hopeful she had felt in years!

Eric Bronner and Veterans for Montana Voters State Leader, Scott Walgreen passed out candy at a Halloween street fair in Helena while talking to voters about why they should vote YES on CI-126, to bring fully open, unified primary elections to the Big Sky State

Veterans for Montana Voters State Leader Dave Oclander hosted another wonderful happy hour and screening of Majority Rules at the Billings Art House in downtown Billings.
