State Leaders

State Leaders are on-the-ground advocates for election innovations in their home states. The situation on the ground is different in each state. For example, some innovations happen in the state legislatures while other changes can happen at the ballot box.

Louisiana Testimonials

"We need military veterans, who understand how an effective leadership/management team works, to step up and stop the fight that is tearing our country apart. VPI is an organization of experienced, patriotic people who know how to focus on the mission (liberty and justice for all) and push for innovative solutions. I submit that the problem with our country stems from one-party leadership – having a CO (President) who tries to lead and no XO (VP) to manage or speak for the other “side.” My solution: Call for a Republican (CO)/Democratic (XO) pair to balance and steer us forward.

I strongly support Open Primaries and the use of Ranked-Choice-Voting. I think it should be the standard for selecting the "primary" positions in government, in every state and federal election. They should include both Democrat and Republican candidates on the same ballot so that when the country has swung too far to one side or the other, the voters can decide which candidates are most likely to restore balance."
