Todd speaks to Texas Lyceum

Writer: Todd ConnorTodd Connor

The Texas Lyceum, a leadership network that spans across Texas, took up the issue of elections at their winter gathering. At the invitation of newly installed President Reda Hicks (herself a military spouse) Todd spoke to the audience about the power of election innovations. Other election experts, judges, and elected officials explained some of the intricacies and idiosyncrasies of current systems, and Todd presented an alternative way in which we could, if we chose to, operate our elections to get very different results using Final Five Voting. This solutions-oriented audience of strategic thinkers from across the political spectrum found the opportunity for Texas compelling. Lauren Postler, one of our Texas state leaders, led the conversation and is pushing the issue forward.
