Veterans,
Theres a proposal to close Louisiana's primary

We, the undersigned, do not support the current efforts in Baton Rouge to spend up to $90M on closed primary elections. Our state has other important funding priorities for our legislature to focus on.

The right to cast our vote is important to holding politicians accountable and preserving our republic. The legislature should not prohibit more than 800,000 independent voters from participating in taxpayer funded primaries.

Louisiana has had an election system for more than 50 years. We should not fix what is not broken, and rushing to make a change during this special session is a mistake.
